Michigan Trip: Rosie Warner

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I went up to Michigan to see my family. My sister, Sarah, just got a new puppy. She’s a brown lab, and completely adorable. Sarah asked me to take some pictures… I didn’t have any equipment with me, so I just used my canon 30D and the stock lens. They still turned out pretty cute. It goes to show that you don’t need a whole lot of fancy equipment to get some good pictures. Though, I did need to exercise a bit more patience, as the puppy was running wild all over the place and I had to be very close to it with my 18-55 lens. I probably looked like quite the goon chasing this puppy around my parent’s yard!

One Light… Portrait Assignment #3- Rosie Warner

This assignment was done with one light. I used one flash, with a soft box attachment, and a gray background. I later took them into photoshop and airbrushed them a bit and then brought them into lightroom to add a vignette. My model needed some good pics for her fiance, so I hope they like these! Here’s what we got!

Editorial #4- Health and Fitness Assignment- Rosie Warner

Kelly, at Tony’s Fitness Center, was kind enough to help me with this assignment. I used an alien bee flash and I took a Lumedyne flash with me for some outside shots. For post processing, I took out the yellow from the ambient light in the room and tweeked the saturation levels, all in Lightroom. Here’s some of what I shot.

In Class Shoot (7/22/08) Food – Rosie Warner

For these shots we had a food stylist come in and set up some dishes for the class. We did some quick high key with 3 Alien Bee lights, a reflector, and a white backdrop. It was a fun shoot and it made everyone quite hungry. In the end, we ate our props…
