#1: Gridspot Assignment- Rosie Warner

This was a shoot done with one main light fixed with a honeycomb grid. A fill light and backlights were also used. Courtney was gracious enough to help me out with this assignment. We had a great time, and I think we got some good shots! Hope you like! … and thanks Courtney!

Portrait Assignment #1- Window Light- Rosie Warner

For this assignment, we were to use north window light, and a reflector. I used a silver reflector for this.  Jason was kind enough to model for me. I did a bit of work on these in Lightroom. I’ll add a brief description of what I did… You can view more of this set by viewing my flickr slideshow

 For these first few, I used the preset “Direst Positive,” increased the exposure a hair and vignetted the edges a tad.

For some variation, I tried something different and used Selenium Tone, sepia, and grey scale. I also adjusted the tone curve in Lightroom to get the contrast the way I wanted it.

These next few, I left alone for the most part. I did use the “punch” preset in lightroom, darkened the darks using the tone curve, and vignetted the edges.

Editorial Assignment #1- Sports- by Rosie Warner
